Dr. David J. Gale, Optometrist

A 1972 graduate of Illinois College of Optometry, with special concentration in contact lenses. Has owned and managed his own private practice since 1973. Board Certified in the Treatment and Diagnosis of Ocular Diseases by The International Association of the Boards of Examiners in Optometry. Has over thirty years of experience in contact lens fitting, with a special interest in hard to fit patients. Has been an investigator for contact lens and solution manufacturers to help in the development of new products. Is actively involved in Laser Vision Correction and refractive surgery.

Had refractive surgery in May of 1994 and still enjoys 20/20 vision without corrective lenses. Has served as the Chairman of the Cleveland TLC Laser Eye Center's Advisory Board since June of 1998.

Dr Gale is an active pilot and former flight instructor and lecturer of Vision and Flight Safety. Member of Cleveland, Ohio and American Optometric Associations. Co-administrator of the Ohio Northeast  Vision Source, a member of the National Vision Source Network. Recipient of the Ohio Association of Quality, Unsurpassed Excellence in Service and Treatment Award.

Carol J. Gale, Licensed Dispensing Optician

Carol has been in the eyewear business for 25 years and has taught at Tri C's opticianry program. Certified by the American Board of Opticianry and the State of Ohio, Carol works alongside her husband and keeps Gale Vision Associates operating smoothly.

Buying frames in the latest fashions and keeping up with the current lens styles and materials keeps Carol busy each day as she greets her new and former patients excited to see what's new at Gale Vision Associates!

As part of the personal service Carol gives her patients, she likes to edge and drill most of their lenses herself, in the office. Carol encourages you to come in and browse and will gladly fill your prescription or if you need an eye exam she can schedule you to see Dr. Gale.

Debbie Wolbert, Doctor's Assistant

Debbie has worked in the medical field for the last 10 years. Starting off your visit with a smile, Debbie will do all of the pre testing necessary before the Doctor examines your eyes. We have the newest technology with equipment that can scan the retinas, check eye pressures and take a preliminary reading on your prescription. Debbie will answer all of your questions and explain how each test works to give you the best vision and health care for your eyes.

Kristi Comeaux, Patient Coordinator

 Kristi is a certified medical receptionist and will be the one who has the answers to most of your insurance and billing questions. She maintains the front desk where you will check in and out during your office visit. Kristi looks forward to your call or visit.
